My students have created their own blogs and now are struggling with the settings.
You can see the links to their blog addresses in Russian here.
And my students are welcome to leave comments on my blog too!
Struggle can be good - especially if they're helping each other so they don't get disheartened. I see they've enjoyed working with different templates - quite a variety! Obviously, they have a lot more imagination than I do (or more tolerance for discordant colors...)
Dear Victoria, where can I see your students blogs? As you know, I've also planned to introduced them to blogging before I start with my webquest. I thought three lessons would be enough for teaching about blogging, but it turned out that they need much more time. They might be digital natives, but most of them don't go beyond the basics of Facebook and MSN.
Thank you for your attention and comments. Yes, my students are really struggling with me and their blogs. They don't want to explore anything new and suggest using their familiar Facebooks, for example. But after they succeed in changing a minor setting they look pleased. We have also registered in Bigchallengeclub.com to find foreign penpals. Arjana, My students' blog list is here on the left, just after Victor's. Their names are in Russian. I was glad to hear from you.
Dear Victoria, thanks for the answer. i've visited your students' and I think they're fantastic. What do you say my students comment on your students' posts and vice versa??? They're all 16 years old. Let's connect All the best Arjana
